The dark lords of progressive metal, Dream Theater are giving away one track from their upcoming album Black Clouds & Silver Linings (Available 6/23/09).

A Rite of Passage is available for free today only (May 6th). I would have posted this earlier, but the Dream Theater mailing list only sent a message about this 10 minutes ago.

I’m listening to it as I write this post and it is a solid but heavy track. The musicianship is excellent as always.
