Yeah, that headline is literal.
This is an incredibly sad, but interesting story of a Guatemalan attorney named Rodrigo Rosenberg. Rosenberg suspected he was about to be assassinated by President Alvaro Colom. In preparation he posted two videos to YouTube explaining why he was about to be killed.
He was found dead on May 10th.

This is one of the big reasons why free speech on the Internet is so necessary. Media sources in Guatemala are downplaying or attempting to discredit Rosenberg, but Rosenberg’s side of his own death is out, and it will never die.
There are other examples of crimes (especially from people empowered by governments) that would go ignored if not for the Internet.
