I never started watching Lost, and I’m really happy with that decision. Watching my friends who are fans agonize episode after episode, without ever having any semblance of a payoff is enough for me.
Since it’s the last season, I’m going to wait and see if the ending is even remotely satisfying to the show’s rabidly addicted fans before I decide to watch it.
Based on my observation of Lost fans, I don’t know if it’s even possible to have a satisfying ending.
