I’m no fan of anime, but this is a bit too much.
Now, I would like to point out that New Hampshire has more state representatives than any other state in the union (if my memory is serving me correctly), and a very low population. They have tons of representatives, and they serve short terms.
Basically anyone can be a state representative in New Hampshire for a little while. Inevitably some are idiots… The same holds true for more exclusive positions. [cough] Governor of New York [cough].
I guess common sense is no longer common.
@ Carl – Was it ever?
New Hampshire has 400 state representatives in the state legislature. That’s approximately one representative for every 3,300 residents. That’s ridiculous.
LOL Nice attack!
@ Simon – Thanks for the stats. At one point I did a lot of demographic and political landscape work on NH, but when I wrote this post, I didn’t have the time to do research.
@David – My pleasure.
