After some extensive online research I picked up the Plantronics Voyager PRO Bluetooth Headset a couple of months ago.
Here’s a rundown of specks, features, and my reactions:
- Lightweight – weighing 17 grams or 0.6 ounces
- Comfortable – fitting around the ear
- Easy to setup – unless your phone is difficult
- Easy to operate – it has three buttons, two for volume, and one to flash the connection to your phone
- Limited noise canceling – nullifying some ambient noise such as wind (this isn’t perfect)
- Good sound quality – the speaker sounds crisp and clear
- Good microphone response – the mic is on an adjustable boon, and it picks up voices very well
- Solid battery life – I’m not sure exactly how long the battery lasts because I use it intermittently, but it has staying-power
Prices vary, but you can find them online for about $60.00.
There are many smaller Bluetooth headsets available if you really want something tiny, but if you are looking for a quality headset, I’m really happy with the Plantronics Voyager PRO.
