“I’m always home. I’m uncool!”

I just introduced my girlfriend to Almost Famous, the only rock & roll flick that is better than This is Spinal Tap.

I completely forgot just how much I love this movie, in particular the scenes with Patrick Fugit and Philip Seymour Hoffman.

“The only true currency in this bankrupt world is what you share with someone else when you’re uncool.”

Watching this scene was one of those critical moments in life that made me feel good about being a geek.

The story, the one-on-one interactions between characters, the music selection, and the use of the music make this movie a must watch.

Here’s to being uncool.

  1. Yes, great movie. Haven’t seen it in a long time. Time for for a re-watch.

Yet another flick that PSH is fantastic in.
