It’s looking like the rumors are true. According to leaked documents from Verizon & Motorola, Android version 2.2 or Froyo will be pushed to Droid owners on Tuesday, August 3.
Froyo means:
- Faster speed
- Greater app functionality
- Mobile hot spots (if you pay for it)
- Faster web browsing
- App auto updates
- And much more
I purchased my Droid on launch day, and I’m still happy with it.
